You Place Order, they run laughing. They'll keep your money and won't ship you anything!

I needed a replacement bulb for a video projector and ordered a OEM bulb that was a bit lower than other companies and they even offered FREE shipping and thought what a great deal! Not exactly a great deal for me.

The bulb was ordered on May 17 and 3 weeks later the bulb had not arrived even though it was supposed to deliver within 2 weeks. I was even more surprised when I found my credit card had been charged for the full amount of $319!

I used the company's online help contacts and placed 2 trouble-tickets regarding the estimated date the bulb would be shipped. Neither trouble-ticket was ever responded to and when I clicked on the link from the automated response email to update the Case the page shows that a "Hill, Grant" closed both of the cases. Nice. Thanks Grant!

After doing some additional investigations I found that the company frequently did business like this and refunds were nearly impossible to obtain. I contacted the company by phone on June 5 and was on hold for 35 minutes before I had to hang up due to work-related needs.

On June 6 I contacted the company by their Customer Service Chat and spoke via chat with someone named Beth. I told Beth that I would like to cancel the order and to receive a refund on my credit card and gave her my order #. Beth did take a long time (10-15 minutes) to research the order (she claimed to be new... Could be) and finally responded that the refund was in process and to expect a full refund in about 7-10 days but that it may not show up on my billing statements for 30 days. I said thank you and disconnected.

After 7 days I had not received a refund yet from the company and directly contacted my credit card company about disputing the bill. To date (July 6) Projector Lamp Center has neither shipped the product nor refunded the money.interestingly even after cancelling the order my account (via web) still lists my order as "Pending."

I am sadly not alone. A simple internet shows many people have suffered the same fate. You place an order and they take your money, they give you nothing in return... Oh not true, they give you a boat-load of regret. This misery would not like company, do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else!!!
