Bait and switch company. Will Lie and Manipulate to take your money and NEVER delive

I was drawn to this company based on the incredibly discounted prices they offer on consumer electronics. When searching for digital cameras on Google, this '5 star rated' company comes up with prices compared to the likes of Amazon, Circuit City, and Best Buy, so obviously I assumed they were reputable and a steal of a deal.
I placed my order with Photodynasty and requested 3-day shipping, counting on the camera to arrive in time for Father's Day.instead I received a call from a customer service agent under the pretense he wanted to confirm my order. He then proceeded to 'bait and switch'. For those who are unfamiliar with this technique, they 'bait' you with ridiculously cheap prices and then use very forceful sales techniques to make you purchase accessories and protection plans.

This "customer service" representative said that I would only be receiving the camera, no batteries, no charger, no memory card, nothing, and the user manual would be in japanese; I would have to purchase everything separately. After rejecting all offers to sell me accessories, he rudely said that my order would ship in 4-6 weeks and hung-up before I had the chance to cancel my order. 4-6 weeks? After paying the extra $30 for 3-day shipping?

In total, I repeatedly tried calling customer service 13 times. No exaggeration. Many times I was on hold for upwards of 10 minutes before anyone picked up. When the agents finally got around to answering my calls and asking "what do you want?", before I could get my order id number out to cancel I was hung up on. Again and again and again. They will not cancel an order. They are extremely rude.

I ultimately canceled my credit card to avoid being charged. This company, in my opinion, is only out to scam you out of hundreds of dollars. I've read many reviews from customers who've actually bought items and fallen for their sales techniques, and many of the 'accessories' they receive don't even work with the product they ordered. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $50 and order from a reputable dealer. Hopefully we can get enough responses for some kind of action to be taken against this fraudulent company. Buyer beware
