Project KOPEG eBay seller you do NOT want to do business with. Won't refund money if not positive feedback

I was told by the seller "If you haven't received our refund offer yet, we would like to extend it to you in exchange for the removal of your negative feedback comment you have left us. That's right, simply remove your negative feedback and we will issue you a full refund."

Can you say coercion?! They are essentially holding my refund hostage in return for withdrawing my honest comments on the unprofessional, immature way they do business. Unfortunately, I did not research this seller fully before buying. If you're reading this I hope it's before you buy. If after, and you have a problem with the seller, please do not back down! Leave honest negative feedback and let others know!

Now, if you're interested, the details:

I bought a Buy It Now cell phone that was new and in the box. They did ship fast and promptly replied to an email asking a question before the item arrived. However, once I tried to get the cell to work there was problems. I had to take it to an Alltel store where a technician tried to program the phone. Turned out that the ESN that was "guaranteed" was all zeroes. Alltel said the phone was "fried", and could not be fixed.

I contacted the seller via email; they said they had a "no hassle" return policy and I could go to this site and print an RMA form. However, I have heard of sellers deducting outragous return shipping charges from the return so I opted to pay for shipping myself: a whopping two and a half bucks. I also went for delivery confirmation so I ended up about $3.50.

The item arrived on a Monday, and I tried contacting the seller on Thur. No replies to email and the phone nbr is just voice mail, which they wouldn't return my calls either. I finally emailed them that if they would not rpely I would open a dispute; again, no response. I opened a dispute and left negative feedback on eBay. Within minutes (literally) of leaving the feedback I was asked by seller to withdraw it. Google ReUseaCell and you'll find alot of buyers have this happen.
