Out $2500 due to HSN and Vivitex

Home shopping network sold me a vivitex 51 inch DLP HD tv for $2,500. We had the tv for a little under a year and it broke. We contacted HSN to see if about getting it replaced and they would not help. They told us to contact Vivitex. Well we contacted them and they would not honor our warrenty nor call us back!!!

So we took matters into are own hands and took it to a local tv repair store. They told us that the main engine/projector im guessing was bad. He said the price to fix it was more than a new TV. Therefore i am out all this money and also have to purchase a new TV.
Its kinda upsetting when HSN sells a product that is junk and therfore wont honor the warrenty or stand behind there products they sell.

I advise you never to purchase a tv from HSN or Vivitax for that matter! $2,500 down the drain... And i now have a big black hole in my living room.

HSN is a joke... And Vivitar is junk!
