Accessories are a rip off!

Cricket phones... Are they worth the headache? My 19 year old purchased a Cricket phone shortly after her graduation in May. On or about February 1. her charger stopped charging. On February 4 I took her to the Cricket store located at 75th and Prospect (71 HWY) in KCMO to purchase a new charger for $15.00. On Tuesday February 12 I returned to the store with the receipt and the charger and was told I needed to bring the phone in before they would exchange the charger to make sure it wasn't the battery. This morning February 13 my daughter accompanied by my mother returned to the store with the phone, charger and the receipt and was told that they would not replace the charger because it was over 3 days!

I contacted Cricket's 800 number and spoke to two people, neither could help. Since the phone is paid through the month I instructed them to close the account on February 29 because I didn't like the service that we received. At this point it's not about the $15, but about there return policies that need to be printed on the receipts. It appears to me, that if a company will only give you a three day return police that they are producing and selling faulty equipment to keep customers coming back, (this is not the first charger we've had to purchase).

Had this been AT&T (who I have), they would have did everything in they're powers to keep me as customer. Should they be called Cricket or just CHEAP???
