Company refused to cancel order 10 minutes after it was finalized, Next day, Customer Service refused to cancel New York New York

As with many others dealing with this company, I ordered a camera only to receive a "verification" e-mail stating I would need to purchase a "2 hour or 5 hour battery for $149, as the camera only came with a 15-minute battery". Can't believe I fell for it but it had been a long day and I agreed to get the battery. 10 minutes later I finally realized the whole thing was bordering on the ridiculous and called to cancel my order; was told I needed to contact Customer Service the following day. When I tried to do that, was told my order "was about to ship" - I would have to wait to receive the order, then "call for instructions for returning". Have contacted my credit card company regarding dispute resolution and hopefully I will get somewhere with that; I don't feel good at all about the whole situation and can't believe these scam artists have my credit card info!
