Never paid rebate even though they stated i qualified and it would be coming

I bought a Niko television through buy.com site and sent in the rebate information within the specified time parameters. I waited patiently for the rebate and when it did not arrive i emailed the company. I recieved a reply, stating i had qualified and the rebate was being processed, that i should recieve it within a few weeks. It has now been 2.5 months since this last correspondence, all phone calls and emails go unanswered. I contacted Buy.com, they were absolutely no help at all. I feel they should not carry products by manufacturers that rip off their customers. Here is a copy of my email and the response by niko

Hi

Your rebate was received on 9/18/07 and was approved, however the rebates usually takes about 12weeks before it gets sent out, you should receive it in a few weeks.
