$400 5 year full warranty on Panasonic TV is no longer valid for certain things after 3 1/2 years

On June 25 I purchased a $3500 Panasonic TV along with a five year $400 "full" warranty. I am now having problems with the Lamp in this tv after 3 1/2 years and when I contact Ultimate Electronics and their corporate office I am told that the lamp was only covered for 18 months, not the five years. If I had purchased the TV and warranty in November of the lamp would be covered. I was also told by corporate office in Colorado that they purchased Ultimate Electronics INC in January and whatever went on prior to their purchase is not their problem. I have purchased over $7500 worth of products from Ultimate and now am told "TOO BAD" and cancel your credit card if you want to. What kind of company is this?
I will no longer tell others to shop at Ultimate Electronics and am filing this complaint. Because I purchased a $400.00 bogus warranty, I now have to purchase a $350.00 lamp directly from Panasonic which may get to my house in 5-7 days. I guess that means I will miss all of the college bowl games. According to the warranty, because I live in Arizona, I can cancel the warranty and try to get some money back. We will see how that works out since I was dumb enough to purchase not just one but two warrantys.
