Still ripping people off in Ohio

I purchased a vehicle from Bill Doraty Kia in January. They sold me the 10 year or 100,000 mile warranty via Ultimate Warranty. I've since sold the car and when I tried to get my money back for the warranty I received nothing but a run around from Bill Doraty & Ultimate Warranty. Every time I would call Bill Doraty it would take 3 to 4 calls and a threat of speaking to a manger before someone would call me back.

I was passed around to 4 people and was finally told they were waiting for Ultimate Warranty. When I called Ultimate Warranty they said they need my signature stating I was canceling my policy which I sent. When I followed up with them they said they were in the process of going into bankruptcy and I would need to wait. They did email me a cancellation quote that said I should get around $640.

I called Bill Doraty... 3 calls later... Got a call back saying the same thing about Ultimate going into bankruptcy but they would give me a discount on maintenance for my vehicle for any problems. How many times do I need to tell them I sold my car! I checked the Ohio Bankruptcy Voice Case Information System (VCIS) number and they don't have Ultimate Warranty shown as filing.

I could find a web site unless I wanted to pay for it so I guess that is my answer. I just wonder if Ultimate is still selling insurance and Bill Doraty is using them. From what I've seen Ultimate has been in many bankruptcy cases and this should have been shared with Bill Doraty to share with their people. If Bill Doraty Kia was aware of this shame on them.
