Sent smaller sized Mp4 audio/video player which had been hacked/tampered to appear to be 60GB actually 1GB

Hello,
In May I placed an order with computercityinc.com for five (5) 60GB Mp4 audio/video players. It seemed a little odd from the beginning that the company shipped my order C.O.D. The item displayed and described was one that resembled an Apple ipod. When the items arrived they were Nano-sized and labeled with a little 60GB sticker and in new condition. I transferred several songs and watched a music video that was already on the player.

The player worked great and indicated on the media player that the device had 62.1GB of memory. Everything seemed to be going smoothly. So over the course of the next few days I sold a couple to some friends of friends and the other three sold on ebay from $108 to $150 each. I was so excited, I sent an email to computercityinc saying that I wanted 10 more.

Well, by the next day, I received a complaint from one of the folks on ebay saying the player was defective and errors were coming up. I refunded the complaintant's money with the perception that the players have a 1 year guarantee.

The very next day I received another email from another ebayer stating that he was having problems with his Mp4 player so he formatted the device and discovered the device had been tampered with and contained a 1GB flash drive and did not have 60GB of memory.

Needless to say I felt very ill. Once again I was refunding money and was extremely disappointed that the once prosperous future had taken a 180 degree turn.

I paid $68 x 5 players $21 express shipping.

I called computercityinc, the phone always went to voicemail. And guess what? The voicemailbox was always full.

I have had no luck in stating my disfortune to computercityinc, but they already have my money, so I don't they really care.

I hope this complaint can be helpful to someone else to beware of what may seem to be an unbelievable deal!
