Amana Gas Range
Inferior product and service!

Amana fuel selection, Product No. ACF 3325AW, worked nicely till— 5 years after purchase—we attempted the home-cleansing function... Problem. Cut on top of the doorway melted, that was quickly fixable, and also the igniter apparently shorted out. Service-man basically stated the price to repair and vulnerability to potential disappointment created purchase of the new range to most suitable choice. Whirlpool (aka Maytag, Amana, and possibly different manufacturers) might create no concession (oh, from guarantee. So sorry) despite the fact that they remembered additional ranges within the 3315 and 3335 design sequence for that identical issue— overheating within the home-cleansing style.

The Whirlpool organization makes crap and wont recognize faulty style/items until compelled to by Consumer Product Safety Commission. I will barely wait until our main equipment business moves through exactly what the U.S. Car business experienced— they created an inferior item and supplied poor support until international businesses effectively resolved both these problems... And in the same period offering less expensive.
