They just flat out lied ripoff Carol Stream Illinois

I have had a brief history with Dell, none of which had been good. What it basically boils down to is that I keep getting misinformed by everyone I talk to. To the point that I have no idea what's fact and what's fiction.

The most recent incident, to which I am filing this report about, has to do with employees of Dell that lied to me. I paid off my account and the first person I talked to said that they were waiving the $13.95 for paying over the phone. I said thank you. A month later I recieved a bill for the $13.95. I called to address it and was told by another employee that it was just an automated charge from the computer and they would take care of it.

I called yet agian, a week later, to see if it had been taken care of and talked to an employee that said yes, my account would be charged and then Dell would credit the account to zero out the account. I would not have to pay. A couple of weeks later, while going over my bank statements, I noticed that Dell had taken $13.95 from me, and never given it back! I have yet to call agian to straighten it out but should I have to after being told by numerous employees that this wouldn't happen.

It disturbs me that they just took the money out of my chekcing account, what other money might they just take out of my account for random fees? Furhtermore, I live in Italy, so everything about dealing with the situation is difficult. I have to wait until late in the evening to call, it costs my a ridiculous amount of money and I'm normally tranferred an average of 3 times, making it a lenghty phone call.

Dell is a large and well known corporation, which is why I don't understand the lack of customer service I'm recieved from them. I will never purchase again from them agian and I tell everyone know not to and why.
