Eturned defective camera, would not refund money

I liked A aiptek digital Camera that i saw at circuit city, It had some really nice features Mp3 player, recording video, etc. I bought it the price was 99.99. I got it home and it did not work properly, It would take pictures but they were so horrible, i put mp3's onto the sd card and played them it had no sound. Whats the point of an mp3 player then. It wouldn't record videos properly either.

So i returned it 2 days later, I had payed for the camera on my debit card the customer service rep said they would refund the money into my account. So i went next door to and bought a hp camera for way more than 100 dollars.

I waited about 4 days went online and the money was still not in my account, called the circuit city and they said that the banks take awhile to refund money sometimes.

I waited a few more days and no money so i called back. They could not tell me why i haven't gotten a refund, i asked for coroporate numbers and was transfered to over 6 people totalling 3 hours on the phone. They said that since the camera was more than 100 i would get a check from corporate in a week or so.

I finally spoke to someone helpful who told me there cashier had made a mistaked instead of reunding my money by debit card he chose by check.

I waited 2 weeks and no check called back and they said the camera wasn't sent back to the company yet for repair. They send all defective products back on the 14th I got my check the 15th of Feburary Over 2 months later and many phone calls later.
