I was very disappointed when attempting to purchase a Canon SD800 IS. I found that they had this camera for $239 $17 for shipping and handling. The msrp on the camera is $399. The next day I get an email stating I have 24 hours to confirm my order, so I called thier customer support to confirm. The representative (who has a thick russian / ukranian accent) tried to upsell the product with batteries, memory, etc. But I refused.

They didn't say anything else to me at the time. I thought the order would go through. After waiting a couple of business days without any kind of correspondence from the company, I called to find out what the tracking number was so I could track it myself.

The same guy as the first time tells me my order has been cancelled becuase the item is not in stock. (This is despite the fact that thier website says that it is in stock.) He also tells me they sent three emails saying the order had been cancelled, none of which I ever received. I tried to ask him why they cancelled the order, but he became very rude and said "I don't care" and "It's been cancelled" and then he hung up on me.

It is apparent that this companies practice is to get you to order an item on the internet at an amazing price, force you to call them back to "confirm" and then attempt to sell you a bunch of overpriced accessories.

This has been the worst experience I've ever had with an online merchant. If there was more I could do to put this company out of business, I would.
