Kodak via Target Sells Lemon C633 Digital Cameras Ripoff

I twice had to return defective Kodak Easy Share C633,6 megapixel digital cameras to Target. The second time the Target clerk told me she returned hers too. How come Kodak is manufacturing such defective cameras? They are dead out of the box. What is wrong with Koadak's quality control?

I missed graduation and Christmas pictures. For a company which advertises that they are in the business of helping people capture memories, my only memory is that they blew my graduation pictures and Christmas pictures, cost me 2 trips across town (time, gas, traffic, waiting in lines) and then they blew me off with a form letter. Ditto for Target.

Why does Target sell these defective cameras? If most or all of them get returned doesn't this tell Target they got a problem. How come Target does not care when I asked them this. They blew me off. Target should be responsbile for what it sells.

Target issued me a slip that I can get the camera at the same price. They owe me this or an upgrade. But they blew me off.

My 1gb SD memory card was in the second camera. I called Target back shortly after I returned it and they told me they already shipped it to Kodak. I doubt they returned it already within an hour of its return. They could have easily given me my memory card back. They refered me to Kodak.

Kodak, which used to have outstanding quality, sent me a form letter. Kodak has been laying off people and closing down factories because it was slow to get the message people don't want old fashion photography. Why don't they get the message people don't want lemons?
