Charge for xbox live service that is inaccesible

I purchased a 12 month subscription to Microsoft's xbox live service. After less than a month my account has become "corrupted" only on my xbox and will only load on other people's xbox's. They offer inaccurate and worthless support for this and it is a very widespread problem. The message "xbox live signup is currently unavailable. Please try again later." is meaningless as it is a problem with their management of the account and its relation to the xbox. Even after reformatting my xbox (losing all my personal information I had on it) IT WILL STILL NOT LOAD MY ACCOUNT WHICH I PAID FOR!!!
