Ripoff, lie, entice, manipulate, avoid, interupt

I was contacted by Futurecom Usa in early December. I was offered a Compaq computer for $299 as long as I signed up with earthlink for 1 year. I was told that I needed to give my banking information to them over the phone. I told them that I felt more comfortable sending a check. So I sent a check.

According to Futurecom Usa I was going to get the computer in about one and a half months. I waited and it never showed up. I called and asked questions they said that there was problems with the mailing. I waited for another few weeks with no results.

I called an asked for a refund. I was emailed a refund letter from Candice Besselaar. I needed to send back the letter. I was told that I would get a refund in about 21 days. This never happened. I called and was told they were backed up. I was told in about 14 days I would get my refund. Since then I have written them through thier website that is not functioning and never heard a word from them. I have called many times. I have spoken to someone there 1 out of every 15 calls. I have left messages on the voice mail. I never have gotten one call back. If they are any indication of the future we need to take cover.
