Ripoff, dishonest fraudulent billing for service not requested Amsterdam

I recently received my bill from Verizon with a charge for $20 for 20 downloads. I had previously been receiving unwanted text messages on my cell phone and had called Verizon to find out to to get them to STOP. They informed me that they how to do this, and said they would be reverseing the charges.

When my bill arrived part of the charges were reversed, but they said that I had to contact the company responsible to reverse the $20 for the 20 downloads. After much searching, they (Verizon) gave me the name GLOMOBI, who I them looked up on the internet.

I never asked for this service, and it suddenly just appeared on my phone (possibly continuing because I responded to a text message that I thought was from my daughter's friend's cell phone?). I explained this to the Customer Care Manager at Globomi, asking these charges be reversed. She forwarded all the messages to me and then she responded that "for this reason the service was requested in the right order and As you can see there hasn't been any form of illegal practices from our side." She further responded "but it is not possible to provide you with a refund."

Since I DID NOT request this service; not even knowing how to TEXT (a co-worker showed me how to respond to the first message that came through, after my phone beeped), I am certain that I did not request this service, even by accident. I am pretty technologically challenged, as you can probably tell!

A statement from Glomobi inicates that 7 messages were sent via my phone number (which hasn't been out of my possession) texting in "Love", "Yes", "Love can you send another one?"Love", "Star", "Yes", and "Yes." This from a person who doesn't even know how to send or receive a text message??? They claim that this is not Fraud - I disagree, but they refuse to reverse the charges.

If you receive any of these messages, text in STOP immediately. (My Verizon customer service representative told me how to do this.)

I will continue to contest these charges with my Verizon phone serivce.
