Billed For Unused Service After Database Crash, Credit Report Hit

I had this wireless service. Due to the company's internal problems, the database crashed and customer information was lost.

After this crash, I received bills in the hundreds of dollars for what I did not use. I talked with customer service many many times and finally got them to agree to bill me only for my REAL usage.

After three months, part of the original unwarranted charges showed up on my bill again. When I refused to pay, AT&T Wireless pinged my credit report. It is the only black mark on my report.

This enormous company practices extortion and harassment. Don't let them get away with it. If we all refuse to let them, they will be forced to stop.
