Ripoff No Communication Shipping Overcharge No Refund for Defective MDSE

I bought a battery from these people on an eBay auction. They charged me $7.99 to ship something that was small and light enough to fit into a regular letter sized envelope with postage for 3 oz. It took 12 days to get to me, during which time I emailed them about where was my battery. They never responded.

When I got the battery it was defective. It did not fit into the camera it was advertised as being for. I again emailed them about returning the item (they say on their auctions that they require a "return authorization"). Again I received no response, so I just sent it back without an RA. USPS confirmed delivery of the battery back to them, but I did not get a refund, nor have I heard anything from them.
