V-Tech Phone rebate ripoff

I bought a V-Tech phone last year, mail the rebate form, UPC, receipt and everything, months later, OD sent me a letter stating" no UPC" so I can't get the rebate.
I already sent everything, who is gonna keep the box of the phone forever?
Don't buy those rebate junk!
Especially from these kind big companies.
They look at their sales and they don't pay the rebate!

Right now I am fighting with them about a Kodak camera rebate, I have the box still.
