Electronics and household app.
I have been a customer of Cricket since 2002. I have been satisfied with their services up to this day.
On February 10, I made a payment on my credit card to my boyfriend's phone account. This payment was made online; I never had any problems before by paying online. The payment was not authorized online, so in turn I called Cricket Communications to make a payment. The representative authorized the payment and it was approved. Unfortunately, although the internet transaction was declined, the internet transaction was approved, and I was charged twice. My online bank statement confirmed this, I also called a bank representative who also confirmed that I was being charged twice.
Immediately, I called Cricket Communications and a representative informed me that nothing could be done. I then called my banking institution, who then stated that the second payment could be deauthorized. The next morning, I called Cricket Communications, who, over the course of talking to two supervisors and four representatives, offered me several solutions: They will doing nothing; no refund could be issued to me but to my boyfriend as a credit because I am not authorized as a user on his account; I can be issued the money within more than seven days but no non-sufficient funds fees can be refunded; etc. I am not satisfied with any of the solutions offered to me. A representative actually told me that my money can be taken, however, if a discrepancy occurs such as the one discussed, Cricket will not do anything to solve the problem.
I am very dissatisfied with the outcome of this scenario. The situation is not my fault. I am going switching phone carriers. The rude representatives, the unwillingness to come to a satisfying solution and resistance to help have forced me to come to this conclusion. Never before has this problem occured; I am not assured that this problem will not happen again.
