Five months of ridiculous battle with the most uncaring, inept, uninformed customer service "experts" on earth. Directv is playing rebate poker with customers... If you do not call their bluff-you will not recieve rebate. I have finally resolved my rebate fiasco-but its been a trip from hell. Same scenario... No form in mail... Downloaded internet form... Recieved standard memo that I was now not eligable.
Do not call 1-800-494-4388-when they were stumped, they simply hung up!!! Try 1-888-297-0945, a different call center. I asked repeatedly for number to this mythical rebate division-and was supposed to believe that they couldnt provide it. B.S.! Everyone, here is the number that finally produced results, 1-800-824-9081. I must say, other than the rebate mess and terrible phone help, I enjoy my service, and wish everyone luck...
