Electronics and household app.

Purchased camera online 11/28/05 had question about what was included in package called back to ask. Was told stock items were poor quality, must buy additional items to get most of camera. Battery for $200, charger for $150 etc. Was told we could not buy items locally or at later date as they would be inferior products. Agreed to sale.

Called local camera shop about suspicions of over charging. Local shop confirmed stock items were best quality, no extra items were needed. Extra battery $27, charger $40, could all be purchased locally from manufacturer.

Called infinity photo within 2 hours to cancel order. Waited 30 minutes on hold. Was told "too late. Item is already in shipping, you missed the deadline by 10 minutes" Told us to accept package when it arrives and call for RMA to return. We asked about restocking fee and were told we would not be charged fee.

Credit card charged 11/29/05

Camera shipped 12/1/05

Camera arrived 12/8/05

Called for RMA. Spoke with several people about returning camera with no restocking fee. Customer service hung up on us 3 times. Spoke with Scott, Victor, and Peter. Got first RMA and got disconnected. Called back to confirm and were told it was the wrong RMA and we would be charged. Gave us new RMA and promised no charge.

Camera returned 12/9/05

Camera delivered 12/19/05

Refund issued minus restocking fee 1/3/06

Called 1/10/06 to inquire about mistake. Was treated rudely. Customer service hung up on me 3 times. Put me on hold for long periods of time. Argued with me. Told me they would not give me money back. Refused to transfer me to supervisor without argument. Said they would transfer, put me on hold, same person picked up and gave me a different name. This happened 3 times with each "person" either putting me on hold for long periods of time or disconnecting me. One actually called me back to continue the argument. No refund given. My husband called with thenames of the people who promised the return without restocking fee. They said they didn't believe him because they don't do that. Hung up on my husband twice. No refund given.
