Illegal debit of checking acct, coll notice for 1,888.85 for a tv i don't have and i cancelled the order ripoff

I ordered a plasma tv from blue hippo, my acct was being debited weekly. I lost my job and notified them to stop debiting my account because there was no money in the account. They said they would stop, but they continued to debit my checking account repeatedly which resulted in fees totalling close to 600.00. I had to close my checking account w/this negative balance. Then a collection agency goldman and warsaw contacted me stating that i owed blue hippo 1,888.85 - for what.

I don't have the television and i cancelled my account with them. They have made no effort to pay the 600.00 fee to my bank for continuously debiting my account when there was no money in it and without my permission being that i told them i lost my job and the money was not going to be there.

This company is full of sh* and the collection agency that supports them i believe is in on the scam. I am sending them copies of complaints regarding blue hippo so they will know what type of company they are representing and i will be reporting them to the bureau of consumer affairs. They will not get one dime more from me. A;sp. There are not a lot of people who are calm about issues like this - like us, the people who visit these types of sites to get this off our chest. I don't believe they are still able to safely exist with all the complaint that i have read.

Thank god for this site to let people vent their frustrations about companies like blue hippo. Thank you.
