3Btech.net & 3Btech.com Warranty Scam Ripoff

Warning: Do not do business with these crooks: 3bTech.net (vendor), a Compu Capital, Inc. Company and 3Btech.com (manufacturer). They take your money and leave you with worthless goods. After multiple inquiries over 6 months, I have given up getting my money back, or replacement merchandise. Here's what happened to me:

Last summer I ordered four MyTV ix 17" widescreen monitors at $369 each. Three of them are still working fine. But one monitor began displaying many thin, colored vertical lines after two months. Under their 3-month warranty, 3bTech.net replaced it with a brand new monitor (after I paid to ship the bad one back). Two months went by and the same thing happened to the new monitor; more lines in the display. This time 3bTech.net refused to replace the monitor or fix the problem. They said the 3-month warranty was over. Even though the new monitor was 2 months old, they said the 3-month warranty clock began running from the time of the original purchase, which was the first monitor. Of course this is absurd because the replacement monitor has nothing to do with the first one; they are two separate pieces of equipment.

It's a WARRANTY SCAM. And it gets worse.

3bTech.net repeatedly referred me to the manufacturer, 3bTech.com, to obtain warranty service. Unfortunately it's another warranty scam. 3bTech.net knows full well that 3bTech.com is also crooked, but they refer customers there to shut them up. 3bTech.com, the manufacturer, doesn't answer e-mails, and their phones are disconnected. I used the e-mail address and two phone numbers listed in their warranty procedure online; no contact possible, hence no luck.
The end result, I lost over $369 to these crooks. The replacement monitor which started out with one line now has twenty with random colors and varying screen position; more appear every week. It's worthless, just like its vendor and manufacturer.
