Ripoff, dishonest, purposely decives to make sale

On Dec. 22, we signed a 2 year contract at a Cingular booth in our local Wal-Mart store. We purchased 4 phones and if we ordered 2 special services (roadside assistance, voice connect) for each phone, we would receive 2-$25.00 WalMart gift cards for each phone, making the phones free.

The 2 services were free of charge, one for 30 days and one for 60 days and the salesperson told us we could walk out the door, cancel the 2 services and still get the rebates. She even filled out all 8 rebate forms for us.

5 months later, no gift cards. I called Mobile Magic and they tell me I was declined because I didn't have the 2 services at the time my rebates were processed. We cancelled one of the services a few days before we would have started getting charged. The second service we had to pay a few days because we forgot to cancel it before 60 days

Mobile Magic admits they received the rebates in early Jan. But they state we didn't have the qualifying services. I offered to show them my Cingular bill, which showed we had them, but they refused every suggestion I made.

I even reported them to the BBB and they flat out lied, saying they offered to let us resubmit the rebates, but we refused!!! And because they had the final response, the BBB raised their rating believing that we refused their offer.

I am so disgusted with Mobile magic AND with Cingular. I feel the sales girl purposely deceived us because my husband told her several times that unless the phones were free, he wasn't signing the contract with her.
So she told us we could cancel at any time and still get the rebates.

I am getting no where with Cingular either. They state MM is not part of Cingular and they have no control over what they promise. Yet the salesgirl's business card says she's an Authorized Cingular Agent
And the booth she works out of has Cingular everywhere and no mention of Mobile Magic.

And the best part, they are no longer at Wal Mart. I found her set up at Brea Mall and I swear, I feel like going there everyday and telling anyone who stops there they better think twice before signing anything because they will lie and say whatever necessary to get you to sign. But my husband says that's illegal.

I am so frustrated. Any suggestions out there?
