Bait and switch, deceptive advertising, excessive cancellation fees Ripoff

I ordered a Panasonic PV-GS150 for their internet advertised price of $439 plus $20 shipping. They called me to try and add $340 to the order for a battery, filter, 5-pack of tapes, and an extended warrenty.

I told them I just wanted what I ordered and was informed that what I ordered was the camera only—with no manual, no battery, no cables, nothing! I was told that to get this would take at least 8 weeks. The conversation went downhill from there.

I told them to cancel my order. I was told that the cancellation fee would be $162. I told them to cancel it regardless and that I would take action if they charged me the fee. We shall see what happens about the fee.

My advice: stay far away from these guys!!
