Rebate ripoff

BEWARE of holiday promotions with Radio Shck. I purchased three items, two DVD Players and one DVD/VCR Player for my grandchildren Christams. Each item came with a "Mail In Rebate". I mailed the UPC codes, receipts, etc in January. After waiting till 3-22-05, I called the local store and asked about my rebates. The store reported they have no record of my rebates, my purchase or anme in the rebate system. Funny that I received the extended warrenty with no proble, oh yes, I paid for that, maybe that is why I received it.

Now, I have to dig through mounds of papers to try and find copies of the receipts. This wil be quite a task as the purchase were gifts for grandchildrne not living with me.

Let the term, "Buyer Beware" be applied to Radio Shack Rebate Rip-Offs.
