Payment Made a Day Late, Then Switched to a Worse Payment Plan

I am a customer who makes her payments on time, but there comes a time in life when something may occur that means you have to make your payment the day after your due date. In my case, my due date was October 15th, but I called the store at 2605 N. Broadway, Knoxville, TN and let them know the payment would be in on October 16th, the very next day. When my son made the payment over the phone and I received my receipt by email, it was $36 and some change, and my due date had changed - they were now talking about a renewal.

I know I'm not the only one who doesn't get their payment in on time, and paying a day late shouldn't have changed anything - there's no way, since I'm on a monthly lease. But you all changed me to a 2-week payment plan, which meant I had to pay more than my lease states, and now, as of November 1st, I am back to my monthly payment. I contacted the corporate office and got a ticket number, but no one called me back - someone from the store told corporate that they had called and talked to me and resolved the problem, which was another lie.

I will be going over this lease with my lawyer and will be getting back in contact with corporate. So many lies, and it doesn't make sense.
