Leaking coil on 2009 HVAC unit after earlier repairs

As is the case with many consumers, we purchased a Tappan HVAC unit (Nordyne) back in spring of 2009.
Since then we have had a thermostat issue, in 2014 the blower motor needed replacement, and now, in February, a leaking coil needs to be replaced. Of course we were responsible for the hundreds, or should I now say thousands, of dollars in labor, refrigerant and increased electricity bills.
I have since discovered that a class action lawsuit was filed against Nordyne in Oct. If you wish to participate in this action or would like more information, I am looking to be a class member representative for SC.
