TV keeps switching on and off from the first day

The TV did not work from the first day. The power does not stay on. It continues to turn off and on. Since it was set up one day ago I have not been able to watch TV. I have called Samsung and Big Box Electronics. The TV cannot be exchanged. It has to be repaired. The service has been set up in the next 5 days. I have paid $3000 for an expensive TV and have to repair it before using it. I was told this happens often and that I am making a big deal.
