You must return the item

Electronics and household app.

I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator from AC on June 27. After wrangling with AM at home delivery for a week, I got the fridge on June 14. The driver said there was a dent on the door.
I called AC customer service immediately; I had to go through the ticket system to get anything done.
I asked to return the unit, but they asked me to keep the fridge and that they would send a replacement door right away. Made sense.
YOU MUST RETURN THE ITEM. Otherwise you will end up with a nightmare and no end in sight.
After weeks of corresponding and getting conflicting answers, AC finally e-mail me the case number at Whirlpool. I found out by calling Whirlpool Parts that there never were a replacement door, but it had to be made to order with a ETA of 4 to 8 weeks, starting on June 26, so we might get the door sometimes in September with a 10 to 14 days shipping.
AC promised in writing to pick up the unit if the door wasn't delivered by July 17.
Now they say they won't pick it up because I placed a dispute with the CC Co. They also refused to do so before because they said I had to wait for the door since it was my fault sinceI did not return the unit upon delivery.
AC continuously asks me to use the unit and to lift the dispute; part of the scam they are running.
They also said "you should have return the item" when delivered. I have to agree with them about this last part.
