Phone bate and switch. Lied to me about products. Over charged. No customer service. Were nasty

Stay away from these crooks! This company posted a very good price for a Canon A 75 camera. When I called to order it, a slick salesperson then lied to me about products I would also need, stating they were recommended by Canon.

I was not familiar with different speeds of flash cards and he told me I had to have a certain kind for this camera that was more expensive. Turns out it was faster, but priced almost twice the market. Also lied about the type of batteries that I needed and that I could purchase from them an accidental damage policy for 5 years thru Canon from them.

I should have just hung up. After buying these things and thinking further, I called Canon directly and asked them about what I was told. Canon stated I did not need a faster flaschcard, ordinary batteries were fine and they did not provide any accident coverage.

It was virtually impossible to actually talk to any one with the company. I called many times and was repeated told to call back at 6:00 pm when "customer service" would be there. There was no customer service. I finally got a real person by going thru the sales number and the person I talked to was very nasty when I did try to return stuff.

I finally decided to cut my loses because I was afraid if I did mail any thing back they would now have my product and would never credit my credit card either. There was also a 20% restocking fee for anything returned that was not mentioned when purchasing.
