Toys r us customers service and product quality is disgraceful

I want to make a complaint, I placed an order for a trike for my daughter for Christmas, it came on Friday 16th of November and it came the box was damaged, the trike inside was damaged with scratches and black marks all over it. We rang after waiting on hold for 10 minutes finally got a answer an the guy told us it would be picked up on the Tuesday after. A week after still no replacement trike, we rang again after waiting on hold for another 10 minutes we finally got through to be told to ring back the Wednesday to find out more information. We rang back on the Wednesday and my partner spoke to them and they said they they can not send out a new trike until the one has returned to the store. And my partner said well what compensation are we going to receive because its costing us money on the phone and we have been waiting a long time. They only could offer us £5 off the next order this is not good enough. We ordered something else they said ring when it arrives and we will refund you the £5 off. Today my partner rang because the item arrived and he was not going to just accept £5 off the item, all they could do is keep us on hold yet again then offer maximum of £10 off. We took this and now we are writing to what you can do because we still haven't received the trike, and my partners phone bill is £62 and its normally £30. This is not good customer service especially for a company of your reputation. There customers service is disgusting
