This company engaged in flat out theft

I ordered a instructional DVD from this company, but I decided to cancel before being subscribed for more DVD's. I sent in the cancellation email on Feb 22nd and never recieved a response. Well I check my bank statement in August and notice a charge from this company. I thought it weird because i cancelled and wasn't recieving any merchandise from them. So i check and these guys had been charging me since I sentin the cancellation. These guys took close to $300 from me!

Well i got on the phone once I found out on August 8th and spoke with a guy named Nick. Honestly Nick was very polite and helpful. He admitted the company was at fault and told me I would be getting a refund in a couple of weeks. Well time goes by and it's September and i hadn't recieved my money back. I called them back and spoke with a woman who told me she would get back to me. Still nohing, so i contact my bank to dispute the claim, but because of the time that went by i was only able to recorver $57.59 of my money. Now this company knows that the bank can't go after them because of a time limiot for claims, so they have the nerve to tell me they can't refund my money but they'll give me a credit for their merchandise!

I urge anyone thinking about subscribing to these guys, please don't do it. They're just going to rob you. Now i'm in the process of contacting the county these guys are in to take legal action. It's deplorable that a company that prides itself on teaching people to defend themselves would also act like bullies and steal from them! Totally disgusting.
