Consumer Grant USA rip-off!

Three weeks ago I got a call from consumer grant us stating i have finally recieved a number in which i was entitled to a us grant and this company would help me secure this... This was sept first or so... At the time i was seriously considering a grant or loan to go to paramedic school... I was a fool thinking this is my ticket... I talke to the rep and repeatedly ask this guy if this was real or not and if i can pull out at anytime... I was ensured that if i contacted the customer service i would be able to amend this... I went through with this and dated my withdrawl as of sept 11.

Sept 3
i started to feel this was a rip off due to me recieving no information and decied to call back and cancel... With the rep that i spoke to i was ensured of cancellation... Funny thing was that my info had not even appeared with the database... Hmmmmm. The rep nicely said i "i will red flag your name and account info and put a hold on it SO YOU DON'T GET CHARGED" upon asking who i was speaking with she would not devuldge such a request... This worried me so i politely said they will be hearing from me... Being a fire emt time is something cherished and not spent with this... I could not get through to their line when i called.

Sept 13
two days after the supposed date of payment (that i had cancelled) i was charged 299.00 dollars... Still no info. I called and was still not entered into the system... At this time the Rep amanda started to yell like a child and would give me no other help other then some one will call you... I didn't stand for that and after arguing I finally made it to a manager Travis emp # 1033... He then told me that cancellation was not a part of the original sale... He then told me that all they could do was put in a request for refund which wasn't a definite thing... It still can be denied...

Here I am a medic on three 24 hour shifts with no money to eat and they WILL not help me. I started to demand answers I go round and round with word play and i was finally put through to martha emp # 1074. She said she was the highest authority and something about them being only customer service. She was real hard to understand now I'm waiting for three days to find out if my request will be accepted or denied.
