Joy Renee is a total scam artist, She is a full on con-artist, rip off, scammer who claims to be a good teacher just because she trained with Seth Riggs and is a so called level five teacher. However many of us on Maui had our children train with her or took lessons from her ourselves. And mind you it was for years with no or very little results. And some of our children even damaged their voices with her aggressive techniques. Also she made her mark on the premise of using the name of Seth Riggs and his reputation, but she has never really accomplished anything as an artist her self. Let this be a warning to all parents or anyone thinking about taking singing lessons, with Joy Renee, best to look elsewhere there are far better teacher in Hawaii then this slim bag rip off con artist. We wish we had known this and been warned before spending our families hard earned money with Joy and taking classes with her for years on end with no results.
