Empire Medical Training
The horror stories you read are true. Not sure how this company stays in business

Education & Science

This operation is one of the most defunct operations I have ever run across.

Many years ago, Dr. Stephen Cosentino owned a pain management clinic. He sold that a few years ago as part of a plea bargain to keep his license from showing a suspension. The FL medical board took his license away because he was found to be addicted to opiates. He was also supposed to attend classes but was able to get around that. This guy is one of the BEST con artists I have ever known in my life. You can search his medical license and it will show active with no disciplinary action, however it is all "hush hush" since he scammed the board. To this date, he still manages to get his opiates and continues to face a major drug problem—that should make sense to those he has blown up on verbally if you manage to get him on the phone.

Mr. Horninger, another prime example of a con artist has also acted as a physician at several conferences, lied to physicians about his "fake" cocktail injections that were used on patients (to save money) and/or tries to chase every female attendee into a one night stand. He is just as bad as Mr. Cosentino. They would be a perfect match in a jail cell to sit and think about all the people they have screwed.

Call the AAFP (913-906-6000-ask for Sheryl or Paula in CME Dept) and ask them why Empire Medical is no longer certified to offer AAFP CME Credits.

Several of the faculty on the website have spoken with us and most have not worked with Empire in many years. Some even have outstanding honoraiums that have yet to be paid.

The newest scam is the AAOPM website. What a joke. They made it up and charge you a bogus fee to send you a certification claiming you are a certified medical professional. Are you serious?

The classes are very unorganized. Yes, the students end up teaching a lot of the class. Most of the class is about upgrading memberships, buying the marketing and or laser sales. It would be correct to say, you will inject 1 patient in Botox and Fillers. Make sure the meds are packaged and opened in front of you.
