Cavalry Inv Gone from Horrible to the utterly unspeakable ripoff

I have spent the last 2 hours reading over all the reports now on this web site. All touch my heart with much sadness and joy at the same time. Sad for all the pain "we" are all going through but joy to know that I am not in this boat that seems to be sinking all alone.

As one person put it" Enough voices raised in so many places maybe some one who "Can" do something will help us by picking it the torch. I will not go in to a great deal of detail for so much of my story has already been told but will add just my own little twist.

In 1997 started out with Greetree. Without looking a paperwork do not recall if I was properly notified about Conseco's take over. Will have to ck. I had some small problems but was doing ok.in 2001 the combination of house payment and lot rent was greatly eating into my retirement income.in Mich the houses in a park are owner occupied and one rents the lot space.
My oldest girl and her husband and son were living with me. With full knowledge of park. They were not on my lease agreement although I had asked them to be so. She and I Coseco had an aggreement to add them to the deed if pmts made on time.

That was the ok park. They were meeting the mortagage payments on time. I had decided to move back to Okla.

The park took offense to this even though they knew in advance I was leaving. The park proceded to evit them and due to lack of proper commucation the house payments got behind. I didn't know til the payments were nearly $1300. At the time I did not have that nor was I able to move back into the house.

ON Sept 1 they changes the locks. There were no papers sent from any attorney/legal agency.

I was contacted by Conseco about voluntary repo. I called and requested said papers, signed, notarized and sent signature required to Rapid City S.D. Nothing else was sent. Thought all was done. They had the property.

One year Later I got a bill for $16,000. They had added $12,000 worth of repairs and such to the little $1300 I really owed. Not explanation just pay it. FOund it on Data report. Sent copies of sign over letter to Credit Data bureaus. Took off. Lasted about 18 months, now it has shown up agn this time with both Conseco and Cavalry Porfolios for $21,000. Ruining peoples lives seems to be their bottom line.

Class action where do I sign!

This nitemare does not seem to ever go away. I had hope to start anew and own a house of my own. This way I will never be able to buy anything ever. I will fight this! Enough! There has be be a way to stop all of this. I will take what I have learned here and hopefully use it. Then maybe help others with any information I can share. Don't give up the fight.
