Alcott University is such a scam. This "so called" on line university is only out to get your money. They say that they are a on line universty and even give you a 800 number to call for graduation confirmation. If you try to search their web page, or contact the "university" by either e mail or phone none of those work anymore.
If there is anyone who has been ripped off by Joan Jacobs (registar) or Shough (the girl who use to sell these on E Bay) please feel free to make a complaint. I paid $350.00 for my degree (I did received a degree and transcript) and if I could get verification for the degree I would not be complaining. I needed another transcript how can I get one if these scammers are no where to be found? What kind of on line University does this to people? I just hope I am not the only one that this has happened to. My opinion if you want a life expierence degree go to another university.
There are some that have toll free numbers and e mail addresses, that actually answer you. If you got time to go to school, then great, just don't send the frauds at Alcott University any money. This school doesn't exist. I did get a hold of them thru phone twice and e mail a few times, but now nothing about them exists except for this. They have several excuses. I have been trying for years to get a hold of these jerks, to get transcripts, with no success. I hope I am not the only one.
