Rip-off! Fraudulent recruiting practices incompetant instructors!

I went to ITT tech in 1999. The recruiter and financial aid staff assured me prior to enrolling that I had already qualified for CAL grant-A which would have paid for 100% of my tuition. They told me however that the grants would not fund until the early 2000.

They handed me a stack of financial aid papers including a student loan application, which hesitantly filled out, but I was assured that the grants would pay that all back.

When the time came, in my third semester, my grant was denied. I immediately went to the financial aide staff, who told me they would look into it but never did. I dropped myself from the program when it started becoming obvious that I would have to end up paying the student loan back.

My third semester instructor Mr Ramey, was incompetant. My entire class unanimously signed a petition and turned it in the Dr. Malott, the head of the Lathrop school. Nothing was done to correct this problem until late in the third semester, when the entire class was so far behind in the curriculum that it was obvious that there were major problems.

It is my understanding that Mr. Ramey is still an instructor there.

Another scumbag company, GC Services recently started calling and have been harassing me almost everyday regarding the student loan which is around $1500. Their rep claimed to be working for the federal government, and she threatened that they were coming after me. She threatened to garnish my wages and put liens on my taxes, and told me that the federal gevernment would be coming after me.
