Delayed Graduation Due to Inadequate Advising

After working with my same adviser for several semesters, it was with trust and excitement that I submitted my graduation application. I was informed I would need additional hours in order to graduate. I went to school for an additional semester in order to complete those requirements.in preparation for the next graduating class, this was repeated. Again I was sent a letter from the office that I needed additional hours. I went to another institution, took a couple of online classes and graduated - I was NOT going to take the chance of staying at Bethel and repeating this indefinitely. Years later, my daughter had the same situation occur. Together we know of dozens of situations where this has occurred, costing several thousand additional dollars in student loan fees and also costing students seats in graduate programs. Unforgivable. Just waiting on a class action suit against them.
