I have to agree with all the others.
Something is not right with DeVry University..
I was blocked from my classes yesterday. Because of an outstanding balance of 800 dollars, which sounds reasonable right?!..
Well - I have been awarded scholarship and grant money totaling $16,087.
Also I was advised to get a Sallie Mae loan of $14,250.
Totaling $30,337.

I am able to provide all of this money to my school, and they want to put me on financial hold because of 800 dollars.
I think it is total BS! They told me that even though they have recieved my funds, I must still find a way to pay the 800 dollars to continue school.

Soo... Basically the school gets all of that money from the Government or wherever and then they kick you out of school.

Luckily after telling them to press their button to delete me from the school, and threatining to attend a different school, the lady finally had a bright idea of dropping one class this semester..

So I am able to stay in school. I figured I would have to pay the 800 dollars near graduation to make up the class that I had to cut. But no! The lady said that I dont need that class to graduate. Mind you that it is my major course for HIT.
SO pretty much we are paying for xtra classes that are not needed, and more.
I would not recommend this school.
