CTU/Colorado Springs, CO fraud, signed up learning disabled student, theft

I was tested all throughout my school years and tested out at a 3rd grade math level, as well as learning disabled. I was in "Resource" all my years in school, and held back in both 6th and 7th grade. I just didnt understand schoolwork and especially math. It was VERY humiliating, and shameful as well. All the kids were so mean to me. Their ridicule never stopped, and they always shouted at me that I was stupid, etc.

So, I eventually did recieve my HS diploma, NOT a GED.

I thought I should be able to have all the advantages that other kids had, and even though I was diagnosed with BiPolar, and major learning disabled, I thought I too could go to "college".

I guess I was having a manic attack when I decided to sign up for CTU/Colorado Technical College/Colorado Technical University for computers... Well, I guess that the enrollment counselor saw me coming a mile away, and even though I told her I needed to be in special education at this school, she said that it would be okay, and she then "signed" me up, and she then immediately assigned me to a 1st year college Algebra class! She also told me that she would be able to get me a job at Digital computers when I graduated. She was such a liar!

Well, they never told me that IF I had to drop out that I needed to "withdraw" through the counseling dept. I just couldnt grasp the classes, and I just couldnt do the work no matter how hard I tried. So, working at a restaurant at night then trying to go to school in the day combined with a major learning disability took its toll on me. I eventually had to quit school and tah dah NO degree like I was told I would get.

I believe that all this school wanted was money, they took advantage of me and they were sure anxious to get me to sign the grant checks that came in for said tuition. I only went there for 2 weeks. The schoolwork was impossible for me to grasp, and so were their classes. Yep, I was in tears 90% of the time cause no matter how hard I tried, I just did not understand any of it! Now it has been 22 years and I am still trying to get that damn loan paid off. The interest is eating up my finances, and NO, I cant handle money either, so I have to have someone handle my bank acct as well. I am still in debt over $7,000 dollars. Because these people knew that they could get easy money out of me by me just signing the papers! That is totally UNETHICAL behavior on their part. I have tried to get SSI and get this bogus loan written off, but the SSI judge crucified me at my SSI hearing, so now I am totally screwed so to speak.

I just hope this gets the word out on how shady this so called achool is. DO yourself a favor, and DONT sign up there! BTW, in case youre wondering, I am not the one typing this into the computer, my sister is typing it for me cause I dont understand computers either. Thank You.
