Lehigh Valley College Ripped me off

I attended Allentown Business School, later know as Lehigh Valley College, right out of high school in '89 and graduated with an Associate's in Specialized Business Degree. They did not offer much in the way of job placement and when I finally started working, the position was temporary and then I found myself unemployed.
It took me forever to pay off my student loans and I ended up not even employed for what I went to school for. Now, I am trying to go back to school and continue my education only to find out that this school was not properly accredited and I can find no school willing to accept their credits.
Whenever I mention ABS to anyone, I am told that my degree is basically worthless and that I will need to start from scratch when I go back to school. I can't believe that this has happened to myself and I'm sure countless others. It makes me sick to think that all my time and money was for nothing and we were all being lied to and taken advantage of.
As I am researching this and finding out that there are others like myself, I can't understand how this was allowed to happen and continued to happen when it became Lehigh Valley College. I was very disappointed to hear that I may need to start all over. I am a full-time working adult and don't know how I am going to be able to spend years attending school at night to earn a degree. I was young when I went there and trusted in them for an education and I feel taken advantage of. I'm surprised that I have not heard of any lawsuits or more stories like mine. I wish someone would've advised me not to go there!
