Poor Communication, Unsafe Situations

13-year old child went with college team on academic visit of Washington DC region...

Bad communication between trip books and pupils - they frequently didn't understand what these were performing next and occasionally didn't understand what these were designed to do after they got there. Most of time allocated to vehicles. Zero conversation with parents which WorldStrides promises to become completely academics obligation. Also during numerous trip delays and modifications, including an urgent 24-hour layover where pupils/academics didn't have use of their baggage (telephone chargers) so that they were not able to get hold of parents! No conversation from anybody associated with these modifications or that which was occurring. No overnight corridor chaperone in resort (despite statements they also have this) during unexpected layover developing a possibly hazardous scenario! Parents anxiously and repeatedly needing to contact airlines in make an effort to discover data. All might have been prevented with direct routes and/or sensible conversation! No transport between airport and college with numerous trip modifications means parents have no idea when to begin operating to airport.

Would not think about this organization again!!
