Back in 2008 I thought it would be a great idea to return to school and get my four year degree and GCU was my unfortunate decision.

The experience started out well enough. Everyone I spoke with was kind and helpful guiding me through the laborious process of paperwork. That is how you get sucked in to the black hole that is GCU. The frustration began when my advisors were changed the first time.

My list of classes was laid out and I knew what was expected of me to receive my degree. Then the advisors changed and I had to go through the process of explaining that there are two files of transferred credits that need to be looked at. That this class counts towards this and these classes were waived. And the list goes on...

I realized at one point that I could add four classes to my load and graduate with a double major. What the heck I thought, so I asked for them to be added.
