CTU online incompetent instructors, almost elementary program, slow refunding credit balances

I enrolled in CTU Online because my life obligations don't allow time to attend a traditional classroom. What a big mistake! The curriculum is comparable to that of junior high to freshman year in high school. Their so-called student advisors are nothing but script-reading call center reps. Some of the instructors are very incompetent.

And don't dare complain on an instructor or you'll get hit with retaliatory low grades and nothing is done about it. They are also very slow at refunding credit balances, although they take their tuition out of the funds the minute they get there, but send you your credit balances in their own sweet time. Also if for some reason you have to be hospitalized and miss assignments even if you have documentation, you are still penalized.

Assignments for every class, are due on the same 2 days of the week, right now it's Mondays and Saturdays - even if it's a HOLIDAY. Yes, you are expected to turn in your assignments if the due date falls on a holiday. They're wonderfully attentive when you go through the enrollment process. After that, you're just a number, especially once you're toward the end of your degree when they've already been paid in full with federal funds.

If you email them with an issue, you either get a canned response, no response, or something that does not do you any good whatsoever. For 27K tuition for an associates program there, you only get about $27 worth of education, IF THAT. I would not recommend CTU to a stranger on the street, friends, family, and not even to my worst enemy. I will be seeking my bachelors with a REAL school instead of with CTU, which is solely focused on profits, not people. Avoid this school!
