"Greatest Vitamins In The World And "Guaranteed Traffic" ripoff or Michigan

I bought Don Lapre's package "The Greatest Vitamins in the World" for $35 in January 04. Received a call from a rep from Guaranteed Traffic.com who talked with me for 1 hr telling me I could do so much better selling "my" vitamins if I worked with themt to received "guaranteed hits" to my website.

I paid them via credit card $800 plus they will be taking $10 each month from my card. I changed my mind and cannot get anyone to talk with that will help me they give me another 800 number to call.

When I did receive a call back the guy on the phone "Mike" said he just called me to sell me TV advertising. He gave me a phone number (800) to call for a refund. It was 1/800-897-1441 which I called, they would not let me speak with anyone and said someone would call me back. That was today 2/10/04. After 2 hrs I called back and the phone number had been changed to 800-579-9873. I spoke with "an operator" who said she could not give me an address to the company because she was just an operator.

I am obviously out $800 but something needs to be done about Don LaPre and his ability to go on TV and conduct a scam. I was told that Don was so sure I would make money that I would get my initial money back after several months. I was told I would get my money back in 30 days if I changed my mind for any reason. What they didn't tell me was I would never be able to talk with anyone who would help me, that I would be given a series of 1-800 numbers and be passed around from place to place. Don LaPre needs to be investigated by the Federal Trade Commission and this needs to be stopped.
